*The Mindfulness Mat cover is made from 100% Natural Linen.

*Inside of the materess cover there is a mattress made from 100% natural coconut fibre which is covered in 100% untreated cotton.

*The Triangular Massage Spikes on the mats are made from HIPS Certified plastics which is used in surgical equipment. 

Can I Wash My Mindfulness Mat?

Yes, we advise to hand-wash the mat using a small amount of washing detergent and lukewarm water. (Please make sure you to remove coconut fibre cover from the mat before washing). Allow the mat to hang and drip dry.

Does It hurt?

When you first use the Mat it's common to feel pricking, warmth and sore sensation on the areas the mat is applied to. With regular usage of the Mindfulness Mat these sensations become less noticeable and it becomes easier to relax the body and mind (Users often compare it to a massage). The more discomfort you feel at the beginning, the more tension that is felt in the area that is being unwound.

Can I Wear Clothes?

The Mats are most effective against bare skin. However some users find it more comfortable to get started with light clothing, such as socks (when standing on the mat) and a thin T-shirt and trousers can be used when laying on the mat. Another trick to ease into it is to use your Acupressure Mat on your bed.

Is it Good for People With Fibromyalgia, Rheumatism or Arthritis to Use the Mindfulness Mat?

Yes. Many people report positive benefits with regular use. 

Can Children Use the Mindfulness Mat?

Parents can supervise their Children when they use the Mats. It has been reported that it helps Children calm down and relax, we recommend using the Mindfulness Mat Mat before going to sleep.

Can People With Skin Disease Use the Mindfulness Mat?

The spikes on the Mat may feel irritating or sensitive to inflamed skin. This sensation may be eased by placing a thin cloth between your skin and the Mat. You should stop the treatment of using the mat if you feel you are getting worse.

Can People With Acne Use the Acupressure Mat?

Yes, this absolutely fine. However we do not recommend people laying on the Mat if they have open wounds or skin irritation on their back, but light to moderate acne on the back should be fine.
